What is BibleZ?

BibleZ is an easy-to-use Bible software written in Qt. Unlike Xiphos or BibleTime, it relies on Zefania XML Bible modules.

Why yet another Bible program?

While there are now several Bible programs available for Linux, including BibleTime an Xiphos, that are based on The SWORD Project's libsword library, there is none yet that is based on Zephania XML. There are SWORD Bible modules in many different languages, including German. However, the Zefania XML project offers even better support for German speakers, as it provides several German translations of the Bible not available in SWORD.

BibleZ is a open-source Programm, licensed under the GPL v3.
